Why army make their bed??(and ALAM too)

Maybe the question above should be why regimental system require the military to make their bed or even better why ALAM's cadet require to make their bed every morning.

Since ALAM's cadets are wearing uniform, it require the uniform rules and bed making may seem the silliest especially every morning after PT.

In the military, making a bed is actually about attention to detail so that when they carry out their duty,they will be able to identify potential threat for example planted improvised explosive devices (IED) or enemies hiding in crowded area.

Even though we (ALAM's cadet) are not army, we should not feel bad on making our bed. Let's hear what William H. McRaven says about making our bed.

In addition, William H. McRaven said that our bed also reinforce the fact that little things in life matter.If we can't do the little things right,you'll never able to do big things right. If by chance you have a miserable day,you will come home to a bed that is made and made bed give you encouragement that tomorrow will be better.
