SIMPLE NUTRITION GUIDE
1. Water
Having appropriate water level in body is vital. Water protect and cushions vital organs and joints, converts food into energy and helps in nutrients absorption. Water also helps regulating body temperature. Our bodies lost water through breathing, sweating and digestion. So, it is very important to re-hydrate by drinking enough water liquid. However, drinking too much water can cause water intoxication!
2. Fats
Yup. That's right. Just like the picture says, there are healthy kind of fats and the unhealthy ones. Basically, it is just saturated and unsaturated fats but we will get more to that later. Fats help in cell growth, regulate body temperature, produce important hormones and acts as addition energy source when our bodies need it.
3. Protein
They literally are the basic unit block of our cells in body. Proteins are essential in building muscle mass. Our bodies use protein to build and repair tissues, make enzymes and hormones. Very essential element for growth indeed. Thus, it it very important to pregnant women, children and teens.
4. Carbohydrate
Also known as "carbs", they are major food source and key form of energy for most living things. In other words, carbs are also main source of energy for our bodies. They assist in metabolism in our bodies.
